Last weekend, the twice yearly Wonder Festival got underway in Chiba, outside Tokyo. There were heaps of figurines and statues! You love those, right?

Absolutely correct. ‘Heldensagen vom Kosmosinsel’ in Japan, ‘Legend of the Galactic Heroes’ to us.
