This Is The Only Way To Play Skyrim, If You Hate Reality

Cyberith’s Tuncay Cakmak is at it again, blending the Oculus Rift with the company’s “Virtualizer” treadmill. This time round, instead of taking us through the bullet-riddled battlegrounds of Arma 3 or the… bullet-riddled battlegrounds of Grand Theft Auto IV, we’re slaying dragons, casting spells and punching people in the face with bows in Bethesda’s Skyrim.

In addition to the Oculus headset and Cyberith’s treadmill, Cakmak uses a Wii Remote to interact with the game and it works awesomely. Pulling back an arrow, putting your hands out to throw flames from your hands and slicing spiders up with dual-wielded blades all looks to come naturally as Cakmak plays.

On a more comedic note, throughout the video Cakmak can’t help but smack up well-meaning villagers before giggling and running away. Oddly, it works well to show off the technology, despite the silliness.
