If we go by the typical standard metrics by which cosplay is judged, you might say this cosplay isn’t very good. That it’s bad. Or even terrible. But those standards don’t matter. This is totally wonderful, incredibly creative and utterly brilliant.
Meet Anucha “Cha” Saengchart. By day, he works as a caretaker for the elderly. In his free time, he runs Facebook page Lowcost Cosplay. Instead of tracking down special fabrics or other materials, the idea is that you cosplay by using whatever you have in the house — like eating utensils, plungers, towels, baking flour, etc.
As pointed out last January by The Bangkok Post, Lowcost Cosplay launched in December 2013. Since then, it’s become popular online in Thailand, with fellow like-minded lowcost cosplayers also contributing pics.
Saengchart is a lowcost cosplay genius. Marvel as he whips up cosplays of everyone from Street Fighter’s Guile to Colonel Sanders, using whatever the heck he has around the house. The results are amazing, with Saengchart often resembling (or, at least, evoking) the character or person he is cosplaying:

The best way to costume.
Some of these are really cleaver. I love the Jurassic Park one.
They’re very knife, but I wouldn’t call them cleaver.
This guy is brilliant! Seriously.
Surely the Aliens one is a take on the Aliens 3 poster? (The one where Ripley is cowering as the Alien’s maw closes in.) But yeah, these are fantastic.
This had me in stitches XD
And that white powder is just a wee bit suspicious…. 😛
This man is a True Internet Hero
Ahhhh… just had a handgun laying around?
