A Little Bit Of Sonic, Some Super Meat Boy And A Lot Of Difficulty

Video game movement is the best, isn’t it? Jumping higher than possible in reality, dodging, rolling and sprinting with impossible smoothness across precise vectors… it’s no wonder you get limitations like a double jump or short dash distances. Fenix Rage takes those strictures away, giving you infinite dash and infinite jumping. It’s the kind of game where you need it.

If you think that this indie platformer’s title character looks a lot like Sonic the Hedgehog and its levels look a lot like Super Meat Boy’s, then you’re right. Costa Rica-based Green Lava Studios says that they have taken inspiration from the early Sonic games and Team Meat’s hit platformer to create their own version of a really tough platformer. You’ll have to be fast and careful to set records in Fenix Rage. Oh, and dedicated. You’ll need to be that too.
