Earlier this week, we asked you guys which gaming system you use the most. The results were interesting, so I thought I’d continue the line of thought by asking the logical follow-up.
Today’s poll is about how many gaming systems you own and use. Before you vote, some clarification of what we’re talking about: A video game system is, basically, something you use to play games. Phones count; tablets count. If you own a Mac but don’t really play games on it, don’t count it. If you own two PCs and use them both to play games, count both. If you have a new phone and still have your older phone lying around as a backup, only count the new phone.
Basically, for the sake consistency, let’s try to focus on the word “use” — omit older systems that you no longer use. If you own a Dreamcast and you still use it to play games (say, if you’ve played something in the last 90 days), then by all means, include it. But the other older consoles that you keep in a box somewhere don’t make the grade.
OK, ready? Get counting.

PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, iPhone, PS3 (in order of most -> least over the past month). I have a 3DS but I haven’t touched it since February.
PC / PS4 / PS3 / WiiU
Depending on what games are out, although I think the PS3 will be relegated to being just a blu ray player soon.
Wii U, X360, 3DS. I’m getting my Razer Blade in a couple of weeks, so that’ll be added to the list. I’m forgoing this gen of consoles for the moment, as neither have anything I want to play on them that will justify the purchase. Also, my 2013 Nexus 7 gets a gaming workout every now and then.
Don’t get a Razer Blade. It’s powerful for a laptop, but for the price, you can get a desktop PC which is three or four times as powerful, with a monitor and OS.
Unless you don’t have the space, which can be sorted by going with a smaller form factor PC (Mini -ATX). Or if you like the portability, which is understandable.
This guy is correct!
Nah, I’m getting the Razer Blade mostly for music production – my gaming PC comes later 🙂 The form factor is perfect for what I need from it. For the games I want to play, it’ll do for now too. I’m not all that thrilled with AAA games these days, so I doubt it’ll have a problem running anything I need it for – mostly Indie games and emulation 🙂
In order of most to least…
Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4, PC, Android phone, N64.
PC. PS4 got played for Infamous, and when they release all of Paper trail, I’ll go back and finish it; PS3 gets switched on once a month for PS+ games; Xbox 360 hasn’t been turned on since… November, I think? So…. I guess my count is “one and a bit”.
Vita > PS4 > PS3 > PC > Phone
PC, XBOX One, XBOX 360, 3DS, phone/tablet* and finally the Wii U**.
*I’m counting them as one because alone I don’t think either would get enough gaming use to be included in the total.
**I’m using the backwards compatibility for Skyward Sword right now but again, not enough to count the Wii as a console I play.
Vita > PS3 > Xbox360
Been addicted to Vita games especially Toukiden at the moment. Must admit that Vita has some great improvement over PSP. Need to clear off more than 10 backlog PS3 games before buying PS4!
At the moment, my most played In order is: PC, Vita, 3DS, PS3, Wii U
PS4, PSVita, 3DS, PS3, PC, Note 3, WiiU (in that order)
phone, 2ds, Wii, 360.
sigh…
so only counting the last 2 months here are the systems i own & Play on a fairly regular basis (at least once a week) in order of most to least.
* PC
* 3DS
* Xbox 360
* PS Vita
* Xbox One
* Time Crisis (1) Arcade Cabinet
* iPhone
* iPad
* Playstation
* SNES
* NES
* Playstation 2
* Gameboy Advance
* Gameboy Colour
* Sega Dreamcast
* Sega Saturn
* Sega Megadrive
* N64
* Wii U
* Playstation 3
I also happen to be an Avid Collector 🙂 So i have about 100+ Systems at last count.
Man, props to you for actually using them. Mine all just sit on the shelf 😛
Dude, can we fucking hang out sometime?
You have a Time Crisis cabinet?? That’s awesome.
PC, 3DS, Wii U. Have a PS3 but havent touched that in over a year
3DS, Wii U, PC. Probably more infrequently than 90 days, but hey.
I mainly use PC, phone and PS3 in that order.
(Also have X360, Wii, Ouya, PS2, PS1, N64, PSP that I no longer use)
Embarrassingly, my main platform this month has been my iPad, cos FTL.
Only other platform is PC at the moment, since I gave my PS3 away and my phone is to small for my old eyes and fat fingers.
In Order
PC
PS3
X360
Tablet
PS1, PS2 x 2, PS3, Wii, Wii U, PC x 2, DSi XL, 2DS
I have two PS2s and yes they both get played, they’re in different rooms, connected to different TVs, it’s just a matter of where I want to play. I still play my PS1 and Wii regularly enough that I’m counting it. I have 2 PCs in different rooms and again both are used for gaming just depends on which room I happen to be in.
Eventually I will get myself a PS4, but right now there are not enough games that I want to play on it to justify buying it.
X360, X1, PC, PS3, PS4, Droid.
In order of what I like best to worst, which also reflects the amount they get used.
Wii U, Vita, 3DS, PS4
PC, X360, 3DS, Xperia Phone, PSP.
PC and X360 get the most attention with Diablo3 and Dark Souls(1&2). 3DS, PSP and Phone get use on the plane to and from work each week.
In no particular order: 360, PS3, Xbox One, PC
Will get a PS4 soon to add to that. 🙂
4. I use the Xbox One, Gameboy, SNES and NES.
I have plugged in also the PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as having my smartphone and a mobile Sega system, but rarely play games on any of them.
