Ah PAX, one of the few place you’ll find cosplayers like Sheena Duquette dressing up as pre-order DLC.
It’s day two of PAX East, and many of our North-eastern contingent were there, playing games, talking to game makers, and proving once and for all that they really need better cameras. Along the way, they took these pictures of people professing their passion for video games through the art of dressing up.

Tomorrow we whittle down our professional PAX East team down to one, so if you see Tina Amini on the show floor tomorrow and wish your picture taken, definitely do not tackle her to the ground. Not at all. That would be bad.

Oh god….We have Lightning cosplaying as Cloud cosplayers.

I know it is, it doesn’t make it any better though.
It’s awesome. I am guessing by your comment that you didn’t like Lightning Returns, which is completely irrelevant because she obviously does.
Your opinion of the source material does not dictate weather her cosplay is good or bad.
Actually I liked Lightning Returns. Her cosplay is really good (that Buster Sword) and it was never a comment on what hers looked like anyway, I just think it’s hilarious that because of the Cloud DLC it’s entirely possible to cosplay as both Cloud and Lightning by just switching wigs.
Every time I see someone cosplaying as New-Lara, I remember just how ridiculous and overblown the attempts to be “gritty-realistic” were. The people cosplaying tend to pull off the dirt and grime really well though and don’t go overboard or randomly smear mud everywhere.
