We didn’t get to see much of CCP’s World of Darkness vampire MMO before it was officially cancelled earlier this month. Now that early testers are no longer worried about breaking embargo, we’re still not seeing much. Damn these are some dark screenshots.
Appearing on a Russian World of Darkness site and posted to Reddit by Ricesnot, these images show beautiful people doing horrible things in the dark, which is pretty much what the World of Darkness setting was all about.
Also on the Russian site is a PDF file of the guide given to participants in the March 2014 beta test, which indicates just how surprising the cancellation must have been for those working on the game. The file only shows a handful of vampire clans available for character creation — Brujah, Toreador, Tremere and Ventrue. Without Malkavians, the game was obviously doomed to fail.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh…
Dayum. Looks so much like Bloodlines it hurts not to see this made.
I kinda wish the assets would be sold to edios and then have them make a single player game out of it.
I was dying to play a Malkavian again.. looks like its a one time thing.
Yes, we have no…sferatu.
No Nossies. No Malks. No Gangrel. No wonder it’s been cancelled. It was destined for suckitude.
Man I was really hoping this would get released…. But over the past few years all we ever heard about it was the team was getting smaller and smaller so it’s no real surprise they killed it :\ I hope someone else starts working on a World of Darkness RPG, absolutely loved Bloodlines… even with all the glitches ><
