This is Perish. It’s being made by one man — Aussie Anthony Richard — and is described as “a procedural Action-RPG / roguelike-like. Dark Souls meets Spelunky”.
Seeking to carry on with Dark Souls’ “deadly and deliberate” combat, Perish has permadeath and a damn tasty art style. Being built in Unity, it’s due out later this year on PC, Mac and Linux.
It’s looking for funding on Indiegogo.

man that actually looks enjoyable.
It’s beautiful but I was worried he wasn’t showing much combat – what he did show was slow and awkward. I really hope this isn’t the case because this is something I’d love to play.
