Pharrell And Hatsune Miku, Together At Last

Pharrell And Hatsune Miku, Together At Last

It’s always interesting when two pop stars from different parts of the world collaborate. It’s even more interesting when one of them isn’t real.

Last Night, Good Night (Re:Dialed) -Pharrell Williams Remix- is a remix by Pharrell of the popular Hatsune Miku song by Livetune. The collaboration is for the surrealist film Jellyfish Eyes, the directorial debut of Japanese Superflat artist Takashi Murakami. For reference, here’s the trailer:

If that movie looks weird to you, don’t worry — that’s par the course for Murakami. If you don’t believe me, just google “My Lonesome Cowboy” with SafeSearch disabled (actually, don’t.)

Jellyfish Eyes is currently touring select theatres in the United States.
