Straight from E3, there’s finally confirmation that the new Assassin’s Creed game will be on new platforms only, such as Xbox One.
Footage shows four different assassins doing what they do best in Paris, France: killing. Together, of course — the game has co-op. Here’s what that looks like in-action:
UPDATE: Read more about the co-op over on the official AC site. It’s for 2-4 players and appears to be separate from the game’s single-player. It seems to support some degree of multiplayer free-roaming:

Hey – they ducked!!
I can’t wait for games like this that are next gen only
This looks great, really looking forward to getting this one!
Edit: I mean the game play doesn’t look all that different from what we’ve seen before, but the concept of multiplayer and the French Revolution backdrop is getting me hyped.
Finaly, this would be good at mini lans
Does this one have Pirates? I really liked the Pirate one.
This, along with Arkham will be the first purchases when I go next gen. Waited for this setting since ACII.
Looks potentially cool but separate from the single player implies that it’s going to have a secondary focus and be smaller as a result. Probably more like the coop stuff in splinter cell conviction/blacklist, fun for sure but short.
My god. I can watch that video in China. Later tonight I will indulge. When I have internet.
Oh my god… AC finally did the only form of MP i ever cared for that game to have… Co-Op!
I would love if its a different story line to the main campaign, but still set in the same large open world. I finally can have fun with awesome assassination setups with a few of my mates 😀
All I can hear is Baldrick yelling ‘Death to the Aristos!’
It’s nice watching the demo and all, but what I’d really like to see is the gameplay interrupted so I can see a shot of the stage and some person holding a controller … SAID NO ONE EVER!!!
Will there be local or LAN co-op?
Will it have split screen or only online?
