Welp. There’s no word on whether or not Bungie will re-record Peter Dinklage’s infamous voice acting in Destiny, but they have gone ahead and made the meme it spawned into a T-shirt.
You can buy it here for $US24.99. Profits go to charity, according to Bungie.
Apparently it’s selling really well:

Confused? You might want to watch this video, which showcases Dinklage’s not-so-great voice acting in Destiny:
I guess the t-shirt shows they have a sense of humour about the whole thing, which is good — but I’m still curious as to whether or not the voice acting will remain in the game.
Thanks Steve.

Does Bungie realize that people are buying it to take the piss, or…?
Or to celebrate that we don’t have to take everthing thuper theriously. That’s why im buying it anyway.
Of course they do? Isn’t that obvious?
Wait, what’s so bad about his voice work.
I don’t think I could play that game, listening to him drone on.. sounding like a robot even if he is a robot drone.
Cold read.
I wasn’t so mortified…the actual dialogue was the issue for me, not his delivery. Although perhaps the idea of a “wizard from the moon” won’t be so laughable with a bit more narrative context.
But I thought Cortana sounded way too excitable for an AI, so I may be alone in enjoying an ambling drone.
