It’s not a new Burnout game. The next game from Criterion is… different.
The footage shown at today’s EA press conference looked like a crazy first-person, action sports smorgasbord where you can jump from helicopter to RV and whatever the hell other vehicle might be in the world. This unnamed title is way early, but it looks like it might be a very different kind of racing experience. If that’s even what it is.

This game looks really interesting! It’s like they made all the video’s and stunts Redbull do into a game!
Hmm. Sounds pretty interesting. Reminds me of Battlefield stunt videos. I could see that being fun. Sort of Mirror’s Edge movement with Battlefield’s wide open areas and large range of vehicles. Couple it with skate style in-game video editing and the XBOX One/PS4 video sharing and you’d have a pretty nice product.
