Woah. Looks like the conspiracy theories were true!
The news comes out of a Smash Bros. roundtable tonight in E3. Jason — who is attending the event right now — says the game features a new-style Pac-Man that can transform into an old-school Pac-Man for certain attacks. Neat.
Pac-man has a fire hydrant move, and can spit out pellets and eat them, in a charge-like move. Additionally, he also has a move where he can cycle through fruits. Pac-Man also appears to have his own stage.

That is not new-style pac man. New style pac man has blue eyes, this is how he looked in the artwork outside of the game. Well, other than that weird red-eyed one on the side of the original cabinet.
OH MY GOD ORIGINAL DEMON PAC MAN AND BAD BOX ART MEGA MAN SHOULD TOTALLY BE EXTRA COSTUMES

This is awesome, makes me wish i still had Pacman World on Playstation. Maybe its on the PSN store?
