Here he is, slaughtering orcs left and right in Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor’s CG trailer. It looks like Talion will become quite infamous among the Uruk ranks for his deeds during (or before) the game’s events, turning into a legend of sorts.
And, well, he’s certainly got the presence for that:
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor lands on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on October 7. Check out our early impressions here.

I watched a few 8-10min gameplay videos for this last weekend, and am now very hype. Like an Assassin’s Creed game with better setting, less sheepish about its carnage, and with some pretty kickass (albeit contrived) mechanics for dealing with the Nemeses.
I’m actually kinda hype for this.
Yeah same.
I do not care for anything set in the LotR universe but this looks like sonething awesome to fill the gap till Witcher 3.
Completely agree with you. I felt a bit “meh” about LOTR games in the past but this one is shaping up to be pretty cool.
Seems great, definitely a fantastic universe to set a game in, and much prefer games like this that don’t follow books/movies main characters.
Boarding the hype train with this one myself. Even though I’ve witnessed over the years that a lot games never really live up to their expectations. The hype train can derail very swiftly but when that train is in Middle Earth, I’m bringing my sleeping bag. Yes, I’m a fan.
