I can’t imagine a better way to wind down after a long day of remotely covering E3 than to sprawl out on the couch and play some Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd, a game that isn’t out in the West until late 2014. Damn E3 trailers.
There should be a rule that a publisher is not allowed to release an E3 trailer for a game that’s already announced and in the painful waiting stages, because that’s just teasing, dammit. Do you want me to import this, Sega? Is that what you want? You don’t know what you want, do you?
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd is due out for the PLayStation 3 and Vita in late 2014 in North America and Europe. Hmph.

Is the first Project Diva F good? I’ve been on the fence about getting it…
I wasn’t sure on it either, but decided to buy it. I’ve been having the blast, most of the songs are catchy as hell and it’s something you can sink a lot of time into trying to master the timing, particularly on the hard / extreme mode which is brutal.
As you play there’s plenty of costumes / accessories to unlock and new items and furniture for your ‘diva’s’ rooms.
I’d recommend it. The only rhythm game experience i’ve had is guitar hero and never really listened to this kind of music before or japanese pop, but am truly loving this (I’m playing on PS VIta btw).
cool! Thanks a bunch for the recommendation!
I think I’ll give it a go this weekend then 🙂
There’s a demo on the PS3 and the Vita if you want to try it. I find it really hard on the Vita but much better on the PS3.
Oh really? I’ll have to check that out!
damn, sometimes the vita psn store doesnt show some of these demos…
didnt even know there was one for toukiden before someone told me
Is it another digital release or will we get a physical one?!?!
Physical has been confirmed for all parts of the world. So both!
Now thats great news – Perfect Vita game 🙂
Isn’t this game for young girls? I was thinking about getting it for my daughter but I can’t be too sure to go ahead if it’s one of those bouncy chesticle panty flash games
No it’s not for young girls, but no it’s not a panty flash game either. It’s a music game with anime styling but it’s definitely G rating. There’s unlockable costumes and one of them is a bikini but it’s not Dead or Alive or anything, it’s very innocent.
