While Sony has been about as lazy as it gets when it comes to custom PS4 consoles, Microsoft is getting a little more adventurous at Comic-Con, showing off a range of what it’s calling “collectible consoles”.
They’re about as custom as you could hope for, many with their own colour scheme and graphics emblazoned all over them.
There’s a catch, though; while Sony’s designs are intended for the mainstream consumer, these Xbox designs are being given out as prizes at the San Digeo Comic-Con. So you’ll never own one, and probably won’t ever see one in the flesh.
For some, like the Machinima, Madden and Nerdist designs, that’s probably for the best. Others, however, like the Twitch and Forza machines, are pretty nice!

The twitch one is already out of date without a google logo…
Whats the barbed wire thing supposed to be, that new ‘might as well be a new but decent resident evil’ survival horror game?
Yes! Lol. It’s for the evil within.
That’s the name!! I knew it had evil in it
What is with sports games needing to put the year in the logo everytime? So you instantly have an out of date special edition?
To make sure you have to buy a new one next year.
I think Sports games should switch to a yearly DLC update rather than a whole new game which is the same engine as last year. Also games like Magic the Gathering should just do a DLC update rather than a whole new game.
I do have a logical reason behind this too, Your average Madden player or Bro as some say trades in Madden Last Year, every time Madden This year comes out, so some people are buying used games rather than the slight improvement of the newest game. But under my system they aren’t selling the old game as they still need it, meaning you get more sales out of the game and you can cut costs by simply doing DLC updates. That means when you do release a newer version of the game 3 or 4 years later it’s massively better and sells like hotcakes because the market hasn’t been over saturated by yearly releases.
Because money. People won’t stand for a $70-100 dlc of a roster update.
I like the Machinima and Evolve versions. Even the Fantasia one looks cool.
All the others are a bit meh.
Looks like a Yellow Pages.
These would go well with my airbrushed van. When is the “naked chick riding a tiger” one coming out?
I didn’t think any of these looked good, a bit too cluttered. Some aspects worked, mainly the front decals, but the big piece of art in the top just looks ugly.
are those paints or just stuck on decals?
Im still waiting for the Titanfall XB1 http://static.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_super/1493/14930800/2449945-titanfall+xbox+one.jpg-large
