Two decades of PlayStation! That sure is alotta PlayStation. As part of the commemoration, Takara Tomy is releasing a series of miniature PlayStation consoles, starting with the PS2.
You cannot play these! These are 1/6 scale versions, but for PlayStation fans, this is a neat way to look back at the past fourteen years of PlayStation history. There are even mini versions of the PlayStation 2’s external hard disk and the PS Move. And, yes, the final versions will be painted!
According to Takara Tomy, these miniatures are “coming soon” in Japan. No word about a Western release or on pricing.

That third iteration of the PS3 sucked major balls. I know because my slim croaked and I picked up the so-called ‘Super Slim’ to replace it last year. Flimsy disk tray, glossy top surface, sounds like a jet engine when reading discs.
No PSX/PSOne? Not really that much of a history then.
Yeah, that was a strange omission.
