The Fine Bros. christen their new REACT channel on YouTube by taking a bunch of unsuspecting teens and putting them in front of the glorious nonsense that is Goat Simulator. Befuddlement ensues.
Having been aware of Goat Simulator from its birth as a joke to its becoming a real game, it’s easy to forget exactly how insane the idea must seem to those who’ve never heard of it. Towards the end of the video, one of the teens asks “Why would you play a game without an objective?” The rest of the video answers the question.

They have to be actors right? I mean… Have teenagers become stupider since I was one (about 12 years ago)
You know, you could do extensive research to show that they have indeed become more stupid or gullible, but everybody will just respond with your age and that you’re an old man complaining about kids today.
(even though that clich is for senile old men in their 80s)
Nope. I assure you that you were just as stupid. If not more so. That’s what being a teenager is all about.
Teenagers are stupid by definition.
My aunt used to have one of those motivational signs up in her house that said “Hire a Teenager, while they still know everything”.
They think they are smart, but they aren’t. I myself thought I was smart when I was a teenager at the time (I’m 34 now), but now I look back on those days and often cringe at stuff I said or did. You would too. Everyone would if you were being honest with yourself.
Seriously, teenagers are stupid.
Lol. this exactly. They think they’re smart and invincible. I think people will all look in hindsight to their younger selves as being immature etc, even my future 50YO self looking at me today would think this I reckon. My brother wrote in my 30th Birthday card a couple of years ago: “You’re 30 now, although you still feel like you’re 21, but when you look at 21 year olds, you swear you were never that immature”. Which is spot on.
But now you’re 34 (good age) you finally know everything!
Haha, no, I’m quite happy to admit I don’t 🙂 Teenage WhitePointer would never have admitted that.
And when your 50 you’ll cringe at what you say now.
Maybe, who knows?
I’m reminded of those AAMI skilled driver course ads where an older, more experienced driver is driving with their kid that looks around driving age in the car, and they look to the side and see themselves when they were teenage drivers in the car next to them. They cringe, facepalm, try to ignore it and pretend like it didn’t happen.
I think that’s kinda what most people would do if they met their teenage selves once they were in their 30’s/40’s.
Few of them seem to be gamers, which doesn’t help.
This headline appears to have been written by someone’s 58 year old aunty.
