Pretty nice art. Initially thought was clicking through to some Final Fantasy X inspired post, can’t say I was disappointed either!
Thank god you said it. Never understand the whole mentality that every post on Kotaku needs to be an essay in order for it to be any good. Sure, sometimes some articles needed additional info when none was provided but still for the most part i find most articles to be of sufficient length for what they are reporting.
The Fine Art ‘art’icles have always been about the pictures and less about the accompanying text though. That being said, they used to have a lot more effort put into writing something meaningful about the artist rather than “They do drawings for stuff”.
I would actually like to know what he has been working on. Would be interesting to read, instead of “…working in film and tabletop games.” What films? I wanna know!!
The length of the bio normally reflects the experience/jobs of the artist. So someone who has only worked on a few projects that you’ve never heard of gets a short one, while, say, someone who has worked at big companies on big games, or across multiple fields, will get a longer one!
I was hoping for more Cthulhu/Lovecraftian.
But still, pretty pictures.
Me too.
It’s ok

What gave you the inspiration for the title?
Probs the giant robotic looking decaying head in the ocean in the top pic.
The top pic is called “Once a God”, just gave it a twist.
Ohmyglob can I have his babies? Wow!
