Rose Coloured Gaming, whom you might remember by their impressive Luigi 2DS mod from last year, are coming out with a new Game Boy Advance model resembling the Super Nintendo. As you can see, they pretty much nailed the looks.
The modded portables have entered production late last month, and are expected to be available for order later in July. Each version of the SNES GBA comes with its own unique paintjob and packaging, with hand-made lenses and plastic shells.
There are some photos for you below. As for the price, Rose Coloured Gaming only revealed that this will be their priciest GBA model yet — so each console will cost at least, and likely more than, $US165. If you’re interested, keep an eye on RCG’s Facebook page for updates.

Snes boy advanced! I love it
I was worried from the cover image that they’d only have the ugly American version. Thankfully the Japan/Europe design comes through.
it’s funny that of all the nintendo consoles the GBA is one i have the second most fondest memories of yet never owned, due to in part of it being a terrible console and playing emulated games were almost entirely superior to playing them on the console.
how’s that? Advance was great, & the SP model fixed any issues with the dark screen.
The screen was the biggest factor, I had a lend of one for a while and it was almost completely unbearable and the originals design was not very comfortable at all. I had heard praise for the SP but by then what would have driven me to buy one I was already playing all the games for free, the SP also looked incredibly uncomfortable but might not be the case, I never used it.
