According to the devs, it’s Resident Evil meets Prince of Persia, starring a keychain ninja plushie. Sounds nice! Looks nice too.
The people behind Nin are a new three-people studio called Vagabond Games, and this PC survival-adventure is their first title. Nin has been in development for three years, and it shows: the environments are fantastic, though it looks like the controls might take some time to get used to, with Resident Evil-like rotational movement and cinematic camera angles. Take a look for yourself:
The game will also have no HUD, meaning inventory and health will have to be tracked on the ninja plushie itself, with cut marks and dirt standing in for a health meter.
Vagabond is planning to release Nin in three separate parts — the trailer above is for the first episode, which, according to them, will take at most 7 hours to complete. There’s no release date, so if you’re interested, you might wanna bookmark the project’s Indie DB page.

Idea is there but man, it looks awful…
I get a bit of a classic Toy Story vibe.
Did you ever play the original toy story game on sega mega drive? Even that looks better than this lol
This has better quality individual textures; they just aren’t implemented well. Other than that, yeah, many early 3D games (and 2D sprite games that used 3D models) looked better.
I’m always apprehensive when a dev claims their thing is “something-meets-something”. More often than not it turns out to be terrible-meets-barf…
Lol this is exactly, that.
