A World Map Showing Where People Are Playing Smash Bros. Right Now

Here’s a cool new feature in the newest Super Smash Bros. game for 3DS: a map of the globe that shows where everyone’s playing at any given time.

As you can see in the shot above, right now most Smash players are based in Japan, though that will likely change when the game comes out in US/Europe/Australia next Friday.

When you go online in this version of Nintendo’s crazy mascot fighter, you can either brawl on your own or spectate (and even place coin bets on) other people’s matches. You can also see something called World Status.

You can’t see it so well in the video, but that ticker up top shows off some crazy stats about the game, like, for example, how many total hours people have played:
