Remember last year, when Dirk Loechel showed us a size comparison chart of pretty much every starship you could think of? Turns out there were some missing, so he’s gone and made what he says is his final update.
It’s so impressive it makes the mind boggle. So many ships, so many comparisons, so many pub fights settled with a single glance.
Oh, and speaking of fights, if you’re wondering why stuff like the Death Star isn’t there, here’s Dirk’s explanation:
For reasons of image quality and chart organisation, only ships between a minimum of 100 meters and 24000 meters are applicable for this chart, sorry. Arbitrary? Yes! But I had to draw the line somewhere.
Plus, you know, the Death Star was a space station, not a ship.

The have QUARK … I’m happy.
Awww, the minimum size leaves out all the fighters.
Is there a similar poster for fighters?
Worse, it cuts out Serenity.
No V’Ger. Poo.
They finally added the Freespace and Wing Commander ships. Sweet!
Whilst they had the Farscape ships in the previous version, they’re still there so Im happy
I like the reason for no TARDIS: “It’s both too large and too small”.
They finally fixed the red dwarfs size in this version. in the older one it was listed as 6000m when it was actually 6 miles (10000m). It’s nice that they have added ships from gundam and macross but I cant see the SDF-1 Macross itself, seems like it would be to big to miss if it was there.
