The Pokémon Trading Card Game just showed up on Canada’s iOS app store. This means that it’s likely heading to other territories soon too. The Pokemon Company announced it during the Pokemon World Championships last month. For now it’s iPad-only, but it syncs up with the long-running desktop version.
Here the first details of what this version includes, if you’re curious:
Interestingly, this is apparently version 2.23.0 despite the iPad version being brand new, though presumably that’s because the desktop version’s been around for a bit.

Orrr… Change your Region to Canada, download and then swap back to Australia. Worked nicely when I wanted to have a play with Facebook’s Paper app and definitely worked for me with the Pokemon CCG too.
Word of warning though – if you’ve got iTunes/App Store credit, you’ll need to use it before you swap over. Also need to hunt out a Canadian address/ZIP code to use, but with Google that won’t be too hard 🙂
Easier to just make an account for the region. I’ve one for AU, US, Canada, and JP…
