Behold, a pair of custom PS4-themed Jordans. The simple colour scheme makes them look, from the front, like something you’d really want to own. But then you see the back (and the price).
Yes, that’s a HDMI port. It doesn’t do anything, it’s just there. Thankfully, you can take the cord out, leaving just the ports.
The work of Jonny Barry, he’s actually made 10 pairs of these, which he’ll be selling for (those not familiar with custom sneakers may want to avert their eyes) $US950.

Take away the emblems and the sneakers become just that: a pair of ordinary sneakers.
Here was me hoping they’d shrunk a Vita into the shoes or something but no, they just put some HDMI ports there because reasons.
more like because *no reasons*
So they are a pair of plain black sneakers with hdmi ports that do nothing? Why hdmi ports??? Is that really the most creative thing they could come up with?
Yes. Because there are no custom Nintendo shoes to copy from 😉
You could dangle two short cords out of each..think modern day spurs?
LoL $950 for a pair of Sneakers that would have cost $25 in parts (INCLUDING SCRAP HDMI PORTS) $10 in labour still likely made by children or someone waay below minimum wage and because they have the word Jordan in their name – lets say at least 50% goes to Michael with the rest going to whoever’s distributing.
GO DIE IN A HOLE SHOE INDUSTRY – Please?
Although I blame your customers are just as much the cause of this problem.
You can’t put a price on having the freshest kicks around.
I’m pretty sure the designer wouldn’t have worked for free, dies would also have had to be made, custom tooling setup etc.
I hate the shoe industry with a passion, but a short-run custom designed run of shoes would not be cheap to setup.
