And I mean everything: all the Batman games, all the Mortal Kombat games all of the F.E.A.R. games and — of course — all of the millions upon millions of LEGO games.
The sale, it seems, is an attempt to get some of that sweet, sweet pre-order action with the upcoming Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor game, which is actually looking pretty great.
That fact, and this pretty stellar list of games on sale has made me realise something: Warner Bros. has actually done a pretty incredible job of creating well-made licensed games over the years. Probably a better job than any other publisher I could name in the last decade.
Think about it: the Batman series of games is beyond reproach. The LEGO series has barely put a foot wrong, and regardless of your thoughts, it’s the go to game for co-op with parents and their children. The only problem child has been the Lord of the Rings series, and it looks like Shadow of Mordor may be the game to finally get The Lord of the Rings license right.
I mean, that’s a fairly stellar list of video games there.

Hye mark you might want to note as well that Dying Light ( techlands new zombie game being published by WB) is up for preorder now, but not for us aussies and kiwis, infact the game has been removed from the store for us completely… it was there last thrusday and left us on friday
Which is why they’re probably going to create their own steam “competitor”.
WB can have their own platform, but for the gods sake dont follow the origin and uplay direction. IF we be a game on steam, lets us just play the damn game through steam, dont force us to load up another steam-like application just so that the game can then run. its Bullshit and not needed and just pisses of your customers
I reckon it’s gonna be a thing, Hopefully it doesn’t mean Arkham Knight won’t come to Steam.
Any idea what time this ends? is the September 22nd date the US end time?
I want to grab a couple of these, but won’t be able to get them until I’m home tonight.
It will end 22nd US – so they should be on sale until 3am EST tomorrow (23rd) for aussies.
Thanks for the clarification!
Very torn about sales like this, these are the types of games I’d normally play on a console, not PC but at the same time they are really cheap and perhaps one day I’ll have a steambox set up. hmmm.
That’s the thing. I really want the Lego games on console but I’ll probably never get around to actually buying them so why not get them for five bucks on PC and maybe still play them one day?
Surely you could have mentioned the fact that this was a steam sale in somewhere other than the screenshot (and article tags).
I have to thank Lego Batman and Lego Marvel for getting my wife involved in video games for the first time since she was a kid. She never touched them before that and now she has her own Wii U and 2DS that she plays constantly. I’m slowly working her up to Diablo 3 … (and trying to wean her off Skylanders before Trap Team comes out which will cost me another fortune).
