OK, so Ash kinda sucks as a Pokémon Trainer. But damn that kid is a physical marvel.
The perpetual 10-year-old has showed off his muscle power in the Pokémon anime several times. In the above photo, for example, you can see him hold up Fletchinder with one arm.
Fletchinder weighs 16kg!
Via Twitter user rifusuto, check out more examples of Ash’s incredible strength. (Note: All weights were confirmed on Bulbapedia‘s Pokémon weight list.)
Look how effortlessly Ash picks up Pignite, who weighs 55.5kg.
Ash carries Larvitar, who weighs 72kg, like it’s nothing at all.
Here Ash is holding up Hippopotas and Pikachu as he climbs up a cliff with one arm. Hippopotas weighs 49.5kg and Pikachu weighs another 6kg.
The only explanation for this is that always carrying Pikachu on his shoulder has made Ash one macho kid.
Pokémon Trainer? More like weight trainer.

Well he does have those killer abs.
oh glob.. i can see that picture in my head again
He’s still friggen stupid. I don’t know how many times he’s pulled out his Pokedex on a Pokemon he’s already used it on.
That just show he’s got poor memory. Maybe he took something to get so strong and it also affected his brain.
Also, he let Misty keep his Togepi. Despite the fact that he was the one who found, AND won it fair and square in a tournament his friends put up to try and claim it. Not only that, but if he was going to let her keep it, I think that pretty much makes up for the bike she was always pestering him for.
Ahhh, random plot points that got buried and never, ever bought up again. This series never fails to amuse!
GS BALL! GS BALL! GS BALLLL!
We speak NOT of the GS Ball!
