Here, Have Six Minutes Of Grand Theft Auto V In First Person

I’m super excited for Grand Theft Auto V on PS4 and Xbox One. Not just for the improved performance — although that is a huge part of it — but mainly because of the all-new first person mode. I’m still uncertain of whether it’ll feel gimmicky or not, but at the very least I think it’s worth replaying the game for. This six minute video, presumably from one of the leaked copies doing the rounds, shows off what you can expect from first person Grand Theft Auto V.

It looks great, which is to be expected really, but what is surprising me about first person GTA is how accessible and easy it looks to play. I had always imagined it might be something I’d try for five minutes and switch off, but it looks as though Rockstar has done an incredible job of actually making its first person view a legitimately playable experience. Based off this video I’m seriously considering playing a new game from scratch and exclusively playing from that perspective.

Anyway, not long to wait now! Grand Theft Auto V comes out tomorrow in Australia for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
