If you really, really like Japanese drumming game Taiko no Tatsujin and are planning on getting the upcoming Wii/Wii U game Taiko no Tatsujin: Tokumori!, then perhaps this drummer controller might be of interest?
On sale December 4 in Japan, this Taiko no Tatsujin Dedicated Controller Pro is priced at 29,800 yen ($300) and measures 36cm by 30cm by 12cm. Inside reports that it weighs 2.5kg, so this is a rather large controller that you might not want to lug to a friend’s house. Heck, you might have trouble lugging it around your own house!

I would buy it…. if they ever release a taiko drum game for us. I always wanted to play them
I made my hands cramp up playing this game in Taito Game Stations all across Tokyo earlier this year. I loved it, particularly after an Asahi or eight.
Did I love it enough to drop $300 on a controller though? Nope. Not while Rock Band 3 is still alive and kicking.
Nothing beats the DK Bongos for Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and Donkey Konga
300 bucks seems a tad expensive, especially compared to Rock Band drums (at least, the ones I just got, which were $40). Not gonna lie though; I totally want this.
I’d buy it in a heartbeat if it came to the west 🙁
FInally this game gets a DECENT drumming perihperal.. the PS2 one was “ok” when it was responsive and the original Wii one was pretty craptastic…
Bring it on…
Except my WiiU is PAL only
Dude, I got a real drum kit for my two year old for $30 at Revolve.
