For the past few years, Tumblr user 1041uuuha has been creating terrific animated GIFs that look like the most poetic Nintendo game you’ve never played.
There’s something bittersweet and even banal about some of these GIFs — almost Edward Hooperesque — just like there is with modern life.

Nintendo game? Most of them give me more of a old LucasArts adventure game vibe.
