You shouldn’t – their strip represents more story than is contained in the game. In their own words the strip is fan fiction to fill in the void left by Bungie…
Yeah there’s more plot and characterization in that one strip than all of the game. 🙁
Sadly I have to agree with you – they should hire Jerry to write for them.
I think that’s part of the problem – most of Bungie’s really good writers all left the company over the last 18 months or so. There’s rumors the game took a massive shift in direction internally and it divided the company and pushed out a lot of people.
