This is quite the coup for LittleBigPlanet. Normally DLC for the game involves new characters from the PlayStation universe — folk like Solid Snake, for example. I don’t know if anyone expected LittleBigPlanet 3 to get characters from Frozen in the game!
Yep, that Frozen. The highest grossing animated film of all time. The one your small child cannot stop watching. If you are an Australian parent with a child under five, I’m guessing you have watched Frozen about 14 times. That’s a lowball estimate.
Which is why this deal makes a lot of sense. I love LittleBigPlanet, but I think this time round shooting for a slightly younger audience makes a lot of sense. I can’t think of a better way to get kids interested in LittleBigPlanet 3 than getting Olaf and the gang involved. For the record I’d like to state that Olaf sucks and is the only crap part of an otherwise fantastic movie.
The details: the DLC is basically a costume pack featuring four Frozen characters. Those characters are Olaf, Elsa, Anna, Sven and Kristoff. Olaf is exclusive to folks who buy the whole package at $8.95, but it’s possible to buy each costume separately at $2.95.

Would be nice if they could fix the issues with some older DLC not working on PS4 before throwing up new DLC but this does look cool (no pun intended).
Also is Sven a random poppit thing for custom levels or is it a costume for one of the new characters (Oddsock or whatever it’s called)?
Edit: Nvm, it is apparently a costume for Oddsock. There’s also a Marshmellow Snowman costume for big Toggle and a Troll costume for Little Toggle.
There’s also a Winter Creator kit (free) DLC 😛
@markserrels Olaf is awesome and you should feel bad for thinking otherwise.
I am mostly with mark on this one but only due to my age, he was a character designed to appeal to the young young folk, those people who might barely break past your waist height. His humour too was aimed at this angle so those of us who are older or prefer a little more refined humour found his presence on screen mostly tedious however briefly redeemed during the “some friends are worth melting for” scene which is actually one of the more mature portions of the movie.
