World of WarCraft has been around for more than a decade now, and Blizzard Entertainment appears to be rewarding its most loyal customers with a pretty incredible statue.
Smitti on the game’s official forums took a photo of what showed up in his mailbox today. What do I get for not having played World of WarCraft for 10 years?!

That’s very cool. Too often companies focus on new customer acquisition and neglect those who have been loyal. Well done Blizzard.
Wow that is gorgeous! Would look fantastic on my desk at work next to my stuffed Yoshi. Unfortunately I stopped playing just after Cataclysm :(.
What would it have costed to have paid for the expansion’s and subscription for 10 years? Just out of curiosity
Taking into account that the subscription costs have increased over the years, you’re still looking at over $1000 at least.
Still, if you’ve been playing all this time, it’s a pretty awesome freebie.
around $1800
I’ve probably cancelled and resubscribed 20 times since 2007, wheres my ‘shitty subscriber statue’ =)
Yeah 100% sub uptime I didn’t have that I was a kid couldn’t afford it.https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/article/wow/771/7445
I’ve been playing since 2004 December… have every anniversary achievement since 2008 (when achievements were introduced – and would have every anniversary achievement if they backdated them) but due to having some off periods here and there and/or being Australian = No Dice.
Same here, I would complain and rant about it but you know, used to it.
>To be eligible for this gift, a player must have created a World of Warcraft account within 60 days of the game launching in the NA or EU regions, and maintained their subscription or game time for all ten years.
>Eligible players in the North American region, along with eligible Oceanic players, have been sent tracking information for the gift.
Reading helps.
