Dayshot: But not more menacing. That would be just silly. Still, alternate universe Darth Vader makes a good effort.
The redesigned Vader was drawn by 1oshuart of DeviantArt (AKA artist Joshua Cairós) for a Star Wars-themed challenge organised by the Brainstorm Facebook group. The group got a lot of entries, but 1oshuart’s is just something else — and his other art is pretty goshdarn awesome, too. Here’s his DA gallery if you want more.

…I swear I’ve seen that Vader on here before.
Looks more like Malak than Vader.
Awful.
Nothing else to say on this Darth Vader.
Bit over the top, and I can’t quite work out what’s happening with the upper section of the helmet. Overall, interesting though.
Plexiglas, I’m thinking. And yeah, over the top. Vader’s simplicity was part of the menace: he didn’t need to look intimidating, he just was.
Part of Vader’s thing was his emotionless eyes, that helmet ruins the effect
Hey, It’s giant naked Noel Fielding. I don’t think I’ve seen that episode of the Mighty Boosh.
lol. At first glance I thought it was a Titan in a Mankini.
