The newest teaser for Marvel’s upcoming super-team sequel shows a collection of superheroes not getting along at all. Too bad they’re going to be facing down a super-intelligent human-hating robot. So much for teamwork?
Today’s trailer gives up a longer glimpse at the throwdown between Hulk and Iron Man, along with a few more glimpses of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch.
And, of course, various moments of Ultron handing the Avengers’ collective asses to them. The Adamantium-covered robot has always been one of the team’s toughest foes and it’s going to be interesting to see just how powerful the villainous AI comes across in this summer’s movie.

I think that might be the first time I have seen a YouTube trailer start with the Australian “approved for audiences but not yet rated” intro. It was super jarring!
Adamantium? I thought Ultron was going to be covered in Vibranium?
I assume they would change it to vibranium for the film, since adamantium is so X-Men-y, they’d want to distance themselves from that franchise…I dunno, has it been officially said yet?
I’d say It’d be vibranium. People are speculating the reason Andy Serkis/Ulysses Klaw is in it is to tie this film in with Black Panther by having Klaw searching for more Vibranium and the only place to get it is in Wakanda. Ultron may team up with Klaw to find it, or Klaw may team up with the Avengers to stop Ultron.
Adamantium would make more sense in terms of comic lore. Obtaining vibranium was always a much more difficult task for only a marginal improvement in strength (which says something, considering how difficult adamantium is to make). Adamantium was invented in an attempt to synthesise vibranium.
So let me get this straight, the avengers are fighting and bickering with each other while facing a sinister enemy who is of close relation to one of the main avengers? Does this sound familiar?
WOOO!!!! Bout Time Avengers Came Back!!!!!
Would be rad if the Avengers actually LOST one, then they did a follow up movie with them regrouping to win. That would be something new.
I bet they’ll be saving that for the first Infinity Gauntlet movie.
You mean what Star Wars did about 35 years ago?
I meant a superhero movie where the super hero doesn’t win. I mean, you could say ‘Oh like Rocky?’ but you still wouldn’t be catching my drift – and would still come across like a bit of a twat.
Awnshegh is right, they’re probably saving that for Avengers 3. I wouldn’t be surprised if the end of this one leads right into Captain America 3 with a falling out over how they defeat, even if it’s just temporarily, Ultron. Probably going to be a huge showdown in which Iron Man decides to kill a lot of civilians in a last ditch effort to stop Ultron which Captain America disagrees with. Causing the MCU civil war
Yeah like the whole goddamn movie…
Given the next six years of sequels have been announced, Ultron is really just the baddie of the week (reducing any drama as we already know the outcome and that whatever danger Ultron posts will be overcome).
Will still be a spectacle in a popcorn way, just nothing mind blowing like Optimus in 89.
