And that’s saying something because Mario Kart is already pretty cute. Here’s a look at the second DLC pack for Mario Kart 8, which is heavy on the Animal Crossing. But wait! There’s more. Much more.
The DLC adds the Animal Crossing Villager as well as Isabelle. But it’s not all AC, because the third character is Dry Bowser. There are new carts, too, and a total of eight new courses, including ones from F-Zero, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart: Double Dash, and Mario Kart Super Circuit. Other stages include an Animal Crossing course, a circuit called Nature Road, and a subway stage called Ring-a-Ding Metro.
The second DLC is priced at 800 yen ($8.66) and will be out April 23 in Japan (no word yet about the West). In case you missed it, here is Kotaku‘s Mario Kart 8 review.

That’s not soon enough.
such a damn good game. and these dlc updates are amazing too.
It says on the nintendo.com website its out the same day @__@
Anyone seen a date for 200cc yet?
23rd. Same day as the DLC.
I spotted Baby Park in that video from Double Dash, it’s probably the simplest yet most fun tracks in the entire Mario Kart library, just due to the pure insanity that can occur on such a tiny track.
Baby Park, Full Grid, 200cc…. Oh my god… The insanity…
