We’ve already covered Cities: Skylines user’s fixation with road porn, but this masterpiece goes beyond such tawdry titillations.
This is a 6-way, fully-connected overpass interchange, made by Guanlong. It’s available for download in the Steam Workshop, and, I mean, just look at this thing.
It’s the kind of design to make a mathematician (or civic planner) weep like a youth in a butcher’s shop.
If you’re wondering how much work goes into such urban planning perfection, Guanlong says it took “probably around 20 hours maybe even 30” to design and build the interchange.

That’s actually terrible.
It’s not particularly efficient because you’d have traffic merging from both sides which would mean you’d have to lower the speed limit to maintain safety/flow. Not to mention most idiots on the road couldn’t get their heads around it and would go the wrong way/get lost.
The middle diagram is missing links to adjacent entrances/exits so you can’t even get to half the places.
No accounting for cost or the human element. May as well be a child’s picture of a Star of David, or a Snowflake.
You realise this is a for a game and not a submission to the department of infrastructure right?
The middle diagram doesn’t have the connectiong roads because they are not part of the object that would be placed. Other roads would be connected to it.
Hahaha what a retard.
Exactly what I thought. Actually, I looked at them and said, “A round-a-bout would do better there.”
You can’t even turn back the way you came! If I was a digital person and lived in that city, you’d bet your last dollar I’d try and avoid these abominations.
