If you have a dog, don’t do this! Just. Don’t. Recently, photos have been floating around of dogs that have been groomed into geometric-headed creatures. The original photos date from, at least, last December.
The look is supposed to be cute. Some pics show dogs with the fur on their heads trimmed into circles. Others have their fur trimmed into squares. Like these pooches.
As noted on website Hachima, people online in Japan (and elsewhere) were quick to point out the obvious: These critters look like the dogs in Minecraft. Most likely, it’s unintentional, but man, it’s uncanny.

Here are dogs in Minecraft.
Again, a square-groomed dog. See what I mean?

And via Twitter user RavenTofu, we’re now full circle.
If you have a dog, please don’t turn him or her into a Minecraft character.

These dogs look like their soul has been broken for the love of god.
Why not? Looks hilarious.
Reminds me of those square watermelons you see for sale.. Why anyone would do this to a dog is beyond me, morons.
Speaking of watermellons, weren’t there once some sick people who used a similar process to breed square kittens?
And yes, I’m hurling right now.
😐
Wow if that’s true then, fuck those people.
Most of the information revolves around how there was once a “satire” site on how to make such a cat (not saying what due to bad taste).
And while it was fake, I remember that some still tried. And I’m going to stop this line of discussion before I start making others other than myself sick at the notion.
Don’t do this to dogs.
Do it to cats instead. It’ll be even funnier.
Cats would groom it out within the first 30minutes. Dogs however are less fussy how they look. Surprised someone hasn’t attempted it on the dogs body also, and tail, legs. hehe. I really don’t see how its cruel, people have been grooming dogs in such fashion for a long time now.
Again dogs don’t give two fcks!
I wouldn’t mind doing this to a guinea pig
