In 1994, there were two movies released based on Street Fighter II. One was live-action, and was a disaster. The other was an anime, and it was excellent.
Here’s a summary of events and tone, in GIF form.
What a movie. It used to be on Netflix (and the uncensored edition to boot), but sadly is no more. If you want to check it out, you’d have to rent it or buy it.
It’s totally worth it though. If not for the cheese and excellent fights, then for the hilariously 1994 soundtrack.

I remember when I first saw it, I had to rewind and pause.
Interesting addition, there is a piece of concept art in SF Alpha that had a little Indian girl handing an apple to Akuma under the same tree
He’s also eating from a bowl at an outside cafe thing in India I think it was.
Also he was a part of the group that smashed into Fei Long’s place with the Van(when they faught the 15 or so Mui Thai fighters)

Chun-Li’s boobs were a huge deal for 1994 me.
Also, it needed a gif of Guile taking his helmet off, and his giant hair exploding from it.
Pretty sure I’ve seen this movie at least 50 times. I also have it on DVD. Was expecting the article to read… “It’s totally worth it though. If not for the cheese and excellent fights, then for Chun Li’s shower scene.”
Nothing hilarious about Alice in Chains.
This movie was so good, and the silverchair song at the end got ingrained in my head.
That Chun-Li vs Vega fight cannot be summed up in gif format, you really need the whole fight
I believe Ryu is supposed to be walking down the highway here in Australia at the beginning of the movie
