It’s a bit of a dead week in terms of big releases, so you could give your wallet a breather. But I’m considering checking out Kalimba, which a lot of people seem to really like. Other than that? It’s a bit of a wasteland this week…
Airport Simulator 2015 (PC)
What is it? Exactly what it says on the tin.
Should you care? These simulator games are slowly going mainstream. It’s crazy.
Assassin’s Creed® Chronicles: China (PC)
What is it? Hey, it’s that Assassin’s Creed game I’d forgotten about. The 2D scrolling one.
Should you care? To be honest, I don’t know enough about it. Click the link above and check it out if you’re interested.
Convoy (PC)
What is it? Imagine FTL with Mad Max road battles.
Should you care? Cool concept. Don’t know enough about it. If you loved FTL you might want to investigate.
Environmental Station Alpha (PC)
What is it? Is this a Metroid clone? Because I am so down with that.
Should you care? Man, this looks really, really cool. Check it out.
Fermi’s Path (PC)
What is it? A game about sub-atomic space which is really a cover for a twitchy reflex infinite runner style game.
Should you care? Looks really cool actually. I love the visual style.
Judge Dredd: Countdown Sector 106 (PC)
What is it? A new licensed gamebook from the Kings of the gamebook — Tin Man Games.
Should you care? Don’t know too much about this one, but Tin Man Games are really good at this kind of thing.
Kalimba (PC)
What is it? A 2D platformer that is apparently brilliant.
Should you care? People seem to be raving about this. Could be the best game released this week.
Kiai Resonance (PC)
What is it? It’s a game that seeks to replicate the style of samurai duels.
Should you care? People seem to like it, but I feel as though it looks pretty unresponsive and weird.
Mind Snares: Alice’s Journey (PC)
What is it? A weird looking adventure game that looks pretty.
Should you care? Certainly an interesting looking game. I have no idea what the hell is going on to be quite honest.
WE ARE DOOMED (PC)
What is it? A beautiful looking twin-stick shooter.
Should you care? It’s been a while since I’ve played something like this. I think it looks gorgeous.
Did we miss anything? What are you picking up this week?

Mortal Kombat?
That came out last week, didn’t it?
Yes it did. How is that going to change this week?
If Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is anything like a smoother Mark of the Ninja them I’m in, but I can’t help but feel it will just be yet another AC game, only in 2.5D…
Smoother mark of the ninja? That game was damn near perfect
Klei: Indie done right.
Airport Simulator… forget GTA V.
Convoy reminds me of Roadwar 2000 (from 1986), which is in no way a bad thing.
Convoy looks like the kind of game I was hoping for when I bought Space Run. Might check it out.
Are the Ass Creed Chronicles games only on PC then?
Nothing this week *phew* I’ll get AssCreCronicles at some point but I’m still waiting on a price drop for Rogue on PC 😉
