This isn’t Mirror’s Edge. It’s a first-person parkour game built using the tools for Trials Fusion. Seriously!
This is what Trials Fusion normally looks like, by the way. It’s a racing game!
Fans have pulled impressive things off with Trials Fusion in the past year, but Bubbakhar Tower, where you jump and slide up a massive structure, might be the most amazing thing yet.
Man!
The other one that really caught my eye was someone creating a Call of Duty zombies level.
You are an impressive bunch, Trials Fusion fans.

That Parkour level made me remember the good ol’ days of the first Tomb Raider games. Much is talked about the gun-tooting, pyramid-boobed badass chick, but the true greatness of the game lay on the still-new-and-shiny vertical exploration in a 3D space. Climbing, looking for handholds or footholds to reach areas that seemed impossible to reach from below, it was all an understated but compelling puzzle.
Nowadays most games have a bit of that and some of them like AC are entirely based around it, but back then it was a revelation. I think that was the main cause of Tomb Raider’s fast drop into irrelevance throughout the 00’s: they made it all about Lara and not about the original mechanics. They tried adding more gunfight, more logical puzzles, more realistic boobs. Meanwhile games like Prince of Persia and eventually Assassin’s Creed made away like bandits by exploiting those mechanics.
