Good news, squinters: CD Projekt RED is looking into fixing The Witcher 3‘s tiny text problem, which I complained about yesterday. A patch just went live on the PC (and coming soon to consoles), but this particular issue won’t get addressed until at least the next one.
@teddyzetterlund The 600 fixes was the Day 1 patch. We are working on addressing the font size issue right now. Another patch coming soon.

Well there’s a head-scratcher…
As opposed to all the parts of the game that aren’t cutscenes or gameplay…?
I really hope the font fix is a toggle. I actually liked the smaller text, on the PC.
Yeah, the frame rate in those menu’s is atrocious /s
Man, I didn’t even think of that. If anything, in most games the menus are where everything speeds up because it’s not processing as much. Wow.
I get 15 FPS in the menu , 60 in-game(hairworks off) 🙂 , and 20-something in cutscenes.
Thank god its not just me, I honestly thought i was going blind.
Even after all the delays it still needs d a little more time for polish, Hairworks is a performance destroyer so i am glad to see that getting an improvement, I hope its a significant one because I would like to use it but even on my 970 the cost isn’t worth the improvement.
Cd Red Project, the only company I will pre order their games. I haven’t had a crash or bug yet. Looking great, running smooth (PC). 3 patches in 3 days, good to see they’re on top of things.
Text size is fine for me, I hope the new size is selectable.
Skipped this one for PC and got it on my xbone instead…. Starting to think this was a mistake, i hope PR can come up with a fix for the frame rate issues on consoles….
I have none on PS4 besides the occasional stutter that every game has. Are you absolutely sure this is as big of an issue as you perceive it to be? Because I’m seeing nothing of the sort in my game and even pop up improved after the last update.
After playing scholar of the first sin at 60fps… yeah witcher has fps issues….
I have no problems with the text on my 64″ screen on the xbox version 😛
Now if they only fixed as well; the abomnation of Geralts movement, the boring turd of the combat, the physical connection physics/animation of Geralt in the world when climbing or sliding or just walking in uneven terrain, the bad facial animation, the bullshit amount of traversal thats forced on the player between quests or the main story….well, there’s too many to list.
Can’t tell if /s or not.
Wow. Way to be ignorant. I’m assuming you’re ignorant.
