As of this writing you can expect to pay between somewhere between $US200 and $US500 for a copy of Capcom’s delightful PSX Mega Man Legends prequel, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne. Or you can just grab it today on PSN for six bucks. Hooray!
Released a little over 15 years ago in North America, back when Capcom gave a damn about Mega Man, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is a delightful prequel to Mega Man Legends starring series anti-hero and Marvel Vs. Capcom (2 and 3) combatant Tron Bonne and her army of Servbots.
Look at those little guys. So cute.
In debt to the tune of a million zenny, Tron Bonne must rob banks and search through ruins for every zenny she can scrape together. Along the way, joy happens.
Speaking of joy, take a look at the current eBay prices for copies of the game.
While the game’s extremely limited run still means snagging a physical copy is going to set one back a pretty penny, the sudden availability of the game on PSN for PlayStation 3, PSP and Vita means it shouldn’t hurt quite as much once word gets around.
Thanks to everyone for sending in the tip. Celebratory splash image incoming!

Finally.
Only if you have a US account. Silly Kotaku localising again I’m afraid…
They really need to fix their article transfer system to either remove US only news or replace the header image with an American thumbing their nose at us.

they be trolling
Just create a US PSN account (multiple regions can be used on PS3) that’s what i did with my PS3 and that’s how i get to enjoyenjoy Dino Crisis and Breath Of Fire 4 🙂
Yeah, I’ve got one that I use occasionally. I would have thought that needing a US account would be mentioned in the article if anyone at Kotaku AU was paying attention to the PSN store updates.
Killed my boner, bro. Why you gotta do that! 😛
Ah what! I had the original on PS1 back in the day, it was one of the best games I had played at the time. Did not that it was this rare 🙁 otherwise would have kept it!
I loved this game when I played it. I was a fan of the Megaman Legends series for it’s kind of innocent, whimsical fun and this game had all of it.
as is the case most of the time its only expensive if your trying to get an NTSC version.
