The people at YouTube have given us a list of their top 10 trending games from April 2015 — that is, the games that saw the best improvements in number of videos uploaded and increase in watchtime. Some are upcoming games. You won’t guess the last one.
Here’s the “trending” top 10 for April:
- Mortal Kombat X
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
- Bloodborne
- Killing Floor 2
- MLB 15: The Show
- Star Wars Battlefront (the upcoming 2015 one)
- The Witcher 3
- Pokémon Rumble World
- Neverwinter
- Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel
If that last one seems strange to you, do factor in that it was free in April as part of Microsoft’s Games with Gold program for paying Xbox Live users. People get excited about free games. Who knew?

Pokemon rumble world?! People are watching people play a f2p game?
Swap that for splatoon and it’s far less embarrassing.
People watch people play LoL, soooo…. what is your point?
9 & 10 are interesting
I’m just glad they’re actually games.
Legend of Grimrock came out earlier this month on IOS if anyone cares…
Oh wow! Thanks man! Didn’t know and i wanted to get into that game!
Undercroft is another one you might like to play…
I’m just surprised its not Minecraft
Or GTA5
The chart is about growth, not total. Minecraft and GTA5 have tons of videos but they’re pretty stable in terms of growth.
