Summer-Colored High School, aka That Japanese Game With a Crazy Long Title, is an open-world PlayStation title. It was released last week in Japan, and besides the main story part, it looks like people have been checking out the do-whatever-the-hell-you-want mode.

If you thought Summer-Colored High School, with its lurk about and take photos gameplay, was a bit much, then you might not what to check out the photos the game’s unlockable avatar mode (or “free mode”) is spawning. In the mode, you can set up characters in various poses and snap photos, apparently after you clear the main story.
In case you missed it, Kotaku recently played through some of the game’s main story mode.
There are many odd (and highly suggestive) photos popping up on 2ch (here and here), where people are calling the game “Japan’s version of Bully” or even a “kami gee” (神ゲー) or, literally, a “god game” or a “divine game”. You know, as in an AMAZING GAME. While some people just seem impressed with all the dumb, perverted shit you can do in free-mode, over on Amazon Japan, the reviews for Summer-Colored High School have been pretty bad! Some are calling it a “kuso gee” (クソゲー) or “shit game”, because, for example, the game was lacking in the open world department or it simply was a “creepy game” (Kotaku‘s impressions are forthcoming).
The game is able to skate around an Adults Only type rating, because the free mode is user generated. Meaning? It’s only as awful as the people playing it! Still, I can’t see something like this, however, allowed outside the country for a PS4 game (note: there’s also a PS3 version of this title). The main story line alone, which in comparison is far more tame, is a hard enough sell internationally for a console game (underage characters, upskirts, etc).
D3 Publisher continues to do what D3 Publisher does: shock and awe. Because it’s not always working with the biggest budgets, creating a stir is probably important. Summer-Colored High School seems like those Simple series budget-priced exploitation titles D3 used to churn out for the PlayStation 2, but for the PS4. Those games have their audience in Japan and abroad, but the free-mode seems to be a little too free for an international release. But I may be wrong!

The thing I find a little weird about this is that there’s a big fuss about “Man, those Japanese games are so inappropriate.”
So let’s see, when the latest AAA title that’s an RPG/Open world game that people can mod, what are the first mods to come out?
1) Sexy clothing
2) Nudity
3) Sex

Nope. At least those games involve adults. This is clearly under-aged school kids. However I suppose this is the part where you tell me “it’s just a game”.
This is why I’m glad PS4 is region free.
That’s no shock I remember working at Hollywood Video Store and renting early access Playboy game on XBOX which had sexy clothing and titties popping out and sex animations. This is a Double Standard cause in the UK and America thy have released very provocative games remember this all started in the UK with corrupting the Youth during the 70s sex Era with movies like Monty Python was some of the most Perverted shit ever yet it was different times back then people thought Monty was funny the same way people find Hookers being murdered o Family Guy funny or some old pedophile who is always harassing Chris.
And then their was Leisure Suit Larry remember THAT game…what about the sexy girls who unlocked from SRS that Illegal Street Racing game. In America they sell Sex with everything. That is the Nature of Business and who runs the Business you ask. The Devil of course runs this business this is the age of the Beast 666. These people in Japan are at least giving people the freedom or freewill to explore their sexuality. In America your forced to watch, Society around you is forced all the time with subliminal messages and ads. I think the rest of the World is falling behind. Or they are falling victim to the corruption of the Illuminati or some comparable thought control system. In general though nothing is wrong with this kind of game. Unless find fault in God’s Creature the Women/Girl and the most define Creation it ever was. =)
However I don’t like how they are using young looking petite or underaged girls in this. The Upskirt photography animations etc the makers of this knew exactly what kid of Voyeuristic game they was making. come on now…In Japan they are all Immoral Degenerates. It’s like Vegas but if Vegas was a Country. It’s a bit shocking that in Japan this kind of Videogame is very trendy and very common. Anime at times can be alot worse. Imagine if Power Rangers was all brothers and sisters having sex with eachother. Exactly what happened on Fooly Cooly and Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer. I saw both of these from Blockbuster when I was 15. I’m a guy so I made no fuss or big deal about it. But that is just to say in general Japan are very sick minded people. They bring so much dishonor to the World. Set the example for the rest of the corrupt and perverted media conglomerates to follow. They all need to find God…lol
