That’s not a bad thing. In fact, it’s a wonderful, wonderful thing.
Today, Nintendo released a new trailer for Genei Ibun Roku, otherwise known as Fire Emblem x SMT. The trailer is ridiculous, in the best way possible.
You’ve got teens, you’ve got idols, singing and dancing, you’ve got mythical creatures, you’ve got fashion, you’ve got smug brats, you’ve got drama, you’ve got swim suits, you’ve got ANCIENT EVIL (or something). Somehow, it all works — that’s just the charm of both of the franchises at play here:
It feels good to be anime trash.
AND NOW FOR THE GIF BONANZA:

This and project x zone 2.
This looks amazing but what’s the connection to FE or Megaten?
The characters involved i presume
Nope
Well they showed Tiki in the trailer who is from Fire Emblem, and one of the Character’s Transformation or Persona thing is called Chrom, so there’s that connection i guess?
but they seriously need to clarify the Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei parts of the game, as it seems more like the battle system is where the real crossover occurs which they still haven’t explained, because a lot of people are pissed off it’s not a straight up “worlds collide” crossover.
You didn’t see Chrom, Tiki, Shiida and Cain in there? All are Fire Emblem characters. From what I understand the Fire Emblem characters enter the SMT world as more or less the equivalent of the demons that act as your allies in the SMT series proper. The SMT world characters also have classes based on those found in the FE games or something along those lines.
Oh right, no missed it. I’m a Megaten guy, only played FE Awakening.
Cheers!
I can’t say anything about shin megami tensei, but Chrom, Caeda, Shiida and Tiki are all characters from Fire emblem. So I assume this game has cameo’s from all over in an original story. Y’know, like every other cross-over game
