The eagerly awaited follow-up to Dragon Quest X is headed to the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo 3DS.

Dragon Quest X was a Wii, Wii U and 3DS (as well as PC), while Dragon Quest IX was a Nintendo DS game. This is the first main series Dragon Quest game since DQVIII to be on the PlayStation platform.

Hard for it to be an ‘eagerly awaited follow up’ when we never saw DQX over here. Still, I have fond enough memories of DQ8 to be excited for this.
PS4 is the best!
Are they going to be two completely different games or is the PS4 version just going to be potato-quality to match the DS?
