Every Physics Demo Should Star Mario

Every Physics Demo Should Star Mario

If you’re going to put together a tech demo for Nvidia’s Flex physics simulation in Unreal Engine 4 you might as well make it fun, and what’s more fun than Mario?

YouTuber CryZENx (via Taltigolt) has injected Nintendo’s number one plumber into a quick and dirty physics demo that sees Mario wading through and pelted by colourful unified particles, as he does. Mind the music, it’s not for everyone.

Better yet, if you’ve got Nvidia hardware capable of handling the tech, you can download the demo and try it for yourself. I’ve got it running on my system, and aside from an annoying “lighting needs to be rebuilt” message it’s running quite well.

For even more Mario physics fun, don’t miss CryZENx’s demo of Mario on Hairworks. It’s pretty horrifying.
