“Yeah, yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn’t stop to think if they should.”
This totally applies here.
This is The Pit, arguably Halo 3’s greatest multiplayer map, in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Seriously, how cool does it look?
Normally these kinds of remakes don’t really look anything like the original. This one. Honestly, at a glance, I would have said it was the real thing.
Of course the question is: why? Would a Halo 3 map work in Counter-Strike? Would de_dust2 work in Halo 3? Probably not. Would I play either for a sustained amount of time? Again the answer is no. I would, however, give it a bash for 30 minutes out of sheer curiosity.
You can find out more about the map here.

It would be fun for Gun Game or whatever they call it in CS:GO now

Oh hell yes… Can you imagine a 5v5 Halo match on that? Damnnnn son!
EDIT: CTF would be pretty ace actually, imagine the epic battles as you lock down corridors of fire. Mmmmmm *drools*
