Apparently GTA 5 wasn’t gangster enough already.
I’m not a fan of R&B or hip-hop myself, but I am a fan of video games being used in cool and inventive ways. So it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that people have been going crazy with GTA 5’s Rockstar Editor.
The other day I saw someone recreate a Smash TV-style game show with aliens in GTA 5, but this is an awful lot slicker. It comes courtesy of AnimalRobot and is a reimagining of the music video for NWA’s Straight Outta Compton.
Small warning here: it’s the uncensored version of the song, so if you’re sensitive to that you have now been duly warned. For everyone else, sit back and enjoy the excellent editing, framing and the amount of work involved.
The creator is Benjamin “AnimalRobot” Roberts, previously famous for creating mash-up videos where the Cookie Monster and Big Bird throwdown like Busta Rhymes.
